Dear Teachers,

Hello! As a former teacher, I know you are all very busy. I hope to be a resource to you and your students, to help make your lives easier and in turn help your students!

There are many ways the library can help you and your students. For instance, I can:

  • Visit classrooms to talk about our databases that are available for research projects with a SAILS library card (http://www.sailsinc.org and click on databases on the left)
  • Visit to booktalk new books to help encourage more reading! I'm a big fan of children and young adult books myself, so I love to do this.
  • Help find resources for projects or classroom activities
  • Assist with research here at the library

What can you do to help me? I love to know ahead of time about school projects. Feel free to fax or email me the assignment page (topic, resources that are acceptable, due date) and then I can be prepared for students and parents.
